Former editor-in-chief of Eurozine – a network of European cultural magazines, including Res Publica Nowa in Poland. Member of the Supervisory Board of European Forum of New Ideas and European Digital Forum. Res Publica Foundation, which he chairs is co-founder of New Europe 100 – rating of agents of change in Central and Eastern Europe.
Specializes in European foreign policy and political culture. His papers are published in Project Syndicate, Foreign Policy, Politico Europe, Journal of Democracy, EUObserver, VoxEurop, Zeit, Gazeta Wyborcza and others. Co-editor of Understanding Central Europe (2017).
