Philologist, sociologist, musician, manager of culture and cultural events. Robert Piaskowski coordinates the development of key thematic platforms of Krakow Festival Office (literature, music, cinema and audiovisual industry), as well as local events programmes in the branch of culture. Coordinator of Krakow Film Commission, film festivals (such as Netia Off Plus Camera and Krakow Film Music Festival).
Was engaged into Krakow acquiring UNESCO’s City of Literature title and now leads the execution of the city’s UNESCO programme for literature, as well managing the organisation of literary festivals – Miłosz Festival and Conrad Festival. Counsellor on the cultural affairs to the President of Poland.
